“Dark Waters” at The Momentary
I’m thrilled to announce the most comprehensive exhibition of my series "Dark Waters" to date, hosted at The Momentary / Crystal Bridges Museum in Northwest Arkansas. This exhibition, created in partnership with Aperture, features fifty framed photographs, a fully functional barroom video installation, and a multi-channel sound installation made in collaboration with the brilliant composer, Heather McIntosh. Spanning nearly 6000 square feet, this exhibition is deeply immersive and I couldn’t be happier with how it turned out.
Huge thanks to the teams at The Momentary, Crystal Bridges, and of course, Aperture.
The show will be on view until October 13, 2024.

Callotype Exhibition in Kyoto
I was honored to show my collotype prints, created with the generous support of the Hariban Award, at Gallery Main during the Kyotographie Festival in Kyoto, Japan, this spring. These prints were produced in collaboration with master printer Osamu Yamamoto and the talented team at Benrido Atelier. We crafted an edition of five prints each of eight images from "Dark Waters," with each print toned using custom ink mixed by Yamamoto-san. The character and quality of these prints are unparalleled, unlike any I have ever made.
This exhibition was generously hosted by Gallery Main in Kyoto, Japan, from April 13-28, 2024.

Truth Told Slant
I’m pleased to be included in the five-person exhibition, “Truth Told Slant” on view at The High Museum in Atlanta, until August 11, 2024. This show, curated by the wonderful, Gregory Harris, aims to “…examine a recent shift in how photographers have taken on the challenge of making meaningful images of the world around them. Rather than using the traditional documentary approach of dispassionate observation, they work in a stylistically expressive manner akin to literary nonfiction, weaving between observational and narrative modes while embracing their own subjectivity.”
The title of the exhibition is inspired by the Emily Dickinson poem of the same name.
Tell the truth but tell it slant
Tell all the truth but tell it slant—
Success in Circuit lies
Too bright for our infirm Delight
The Truth’s superb surprise
As Lightning to the Children eased
With explanation kind
The Truth must dazzle gradually
Or every man be blind—
-Emily Dickinson
